We aim to develop the whole child; ensuring pupils have a wide range of opportunities to succeed in academic work as well as music, sport and the Arts. We also firmly believe in respect and kindness towards others, which helps make sure our school is a vibrant, caring learning environment that ensures that pupil’s individual needs are very well catered for. At Golden Flatts Primary School we work together as a team to ensure that all children make excellent progress and attain high standards, whilst being cared for and nurtured.
We personalise our curriculum to make sure that pupils are able to move onto the next stage of their learning with confidence. At the heart of our curriculum are our four curriculum drivers: creativity, basic skills, personal and social education and learning in the outdoor environment. At Golden Flatts we motivate, inspire and challenge pupils to become creative, independent learners with high self-esteem.

‘Let your light shine’
‘As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.’ Nelson Mandela
Mrs M. Newbury
The Governing Bodies of Golden Flatts Primary School and Lynnfield Primary SchooI are jointly committed to ensuring a first class education for all children in their communities. Golden Flatts Primary School and Lynnfield Primary School share similar visions and value systems. Both schools firmly place the needs of the children and the community at the centre of their work.
The Governing Bodies have indicated a desire to work in a close and more formal partnership in order to raise pupil attainment, offer a wider range of educational opportunities and involve families more closely in their child’s education through the development of extended services. It is with this vision in mind that the Governing Bodies of Golden Flatts Primary School and Lynnfield Primary School would like to propose a federation in order to provide the best possible education to the children. This is a shared and collaborative process, which puts the best interests of the children and their education at its heart and enables them to fulfil their full potential.
As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. Nelson Mandela
